TRUSTED LOGIC ANNOUNCES THE CREATION OF TRUSTED LABS Subsidiary to offer Security Evaluation and Consulting Services.
– Trusted Logic today announces the inception of Trusted Labs, an independent company dedicated to security consulting and the evaluation of solutions based on embedded systems. The creation of this subsidiary will enable Trusted Logic to enhance the quality of its relationships with customers, including technology and embedded solutions providers, while still offering them the highest level of expertise.
Trusted Labs offering will include customer support for security evaluations, and the development and expansion of evaluation policies within proprietary or standard schemes. The formation of Trusted Labs as an independent subsidiary will enable Trusted Logic to manage partner relationships more effectively.
Dominique Bolignano, Trusted Logic President and CEO, comments the launch of this new structure: « Over the past year, we have launched our first jTOP™ platforms for cards and terminals to the market.
Today, we wish to develop our consulting activities within an independent company – Trusted Labs – with all guaranties of professional ethics that have always characterized Trusted Logic. »
With the increasing need for security in embedded systems, customer demand for security consulting and evaluation presents many challenges. Trusted Logic maintains a high level of integrity and objectivity in part due to its involvement in programs such as the MasterCard Compliance Assessment and Security Testing (CAST) program for Java Card™ platforms, the EAL7 Common Criteria references, and the design of the Java Card™ System Protection Profile for Sun Microsystems.
